1958 anamorphic regular-8 1958 regular-8
I got this very special film from the original author. He has filmed Brussels world Fair 1958 with his Paillard regular-8 camera, on Kodachrome film stock and with a anamorphic lens.

1974 super-8 1974 Super-8
I got this nice super-8 film from a friend. His father has made it in 1974. The quality of this film is still very good after all these years. It was made on Kodachrome.

2007 100D 2007 around the house on 100D
This was my first Super-8 film I have shot, after 30 years of non-filming.. It was shot with my Canon 814 XL-S on Kodak Ektachrome 100D. The very fine grain and the sharpness of 100D is very good. The colors are a bit towards red/brown.

2008 Christmas 2008 Christmas on Super-8
I have shot this film with my Canon 814 XL-S on Kodak Ektachrome 64T. I have used only one 1000 Watt halogen spot. For those who like Christmas....

2009 in my garden April 2009.. in my garden
I have shot this film with the Canon 814 XL-S on Kodak Ektachrome 64T. It was a bright and sunny day in april 2009.

2009 around my workshop May 2009.. around my workshop
I have shot this film with the old model Canon 814E on Kodak Ektachrome 64T. The 814 is a very basic and reliable "workhorse".

2009 super-8: ektachrome 64T July 2009, Gent on Super-8
I have made this film in and around Gent, my home town. The used camera was a Canon 1014E, the used filmstock was Kodak Ektachrome 64T.

2009 super-8: ektachrome 64T July 2009, Gent on Super-8, part 2
More frames from the same 'Gent' film. These frames where generated straight from the original uncompressed capture. It was a cloudy day, so the colors are less vivid.

2009 super-8: ektachrome 64T July 2009, Gent on Super-8, part 3
Part 3 from the 'Gent' film. These frames where also generated straight from the original uncompressed capture. These scenes where made around Gent.

2009 super-8: ektachrome 64T July 2009, the Meuse Valley on Super-8
I have made this film on location in the summer of 2009. The camera was the Canon 814 XL-S, the used filmstock was Kodak Ektachrome 64T. I have removed the heavy E64T grain completely with my Avisynth film restoring script. See link below for the script.

2009 super-8: ektachrome 64T July 2009, the Meuse Valley on Super-8, part 2
More frames from the 'Meuse Valley' film, generated straight from the original uncompressed capture. I have used very strong degraining on these frames: averaging 8 frames.
